eMedyx System Security

The eMedyx ID System is designed with security as its primary component.  

Using the same Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256 bit cipher certified by the U.S. Government for storage and protection of documents up to SECRET level, eMedyx offers their members the same level of security regarding their Personal Healthcare Information. Personal Healthcare Information is stored safely on both the eMedyx Card and in the eMedxy ID Software using these secure encryption techniques.

In addition all information exchange throughout the eMedyx ID System is accomplished using the best commercial grade Secure Socket Layer (SSL) e commerce technology available. eMedyx incorporates secure biometric authentication along with photo ID to ensure the positive identification of its members before any treatment is given.
