visionariesJeffrey C. Lee, Chief Executive Officer 

Jeffrey Lee has been involved with the startup and operations of many successful businesses in South Florida.  Self-employed since 1978, Mr. Lee has had experience in many fields of operation including:  agriculture, Bio hazardous waste treatment, manufacturing, construction, software development, and land development, to name a few.  Mr. Lee retired after 23 years of business in the tropical plant industry. 

After growing their operation, Black Diamond Nursery, Inc., into one of South Florida’s premier plant nurseries with a customer base of over 8,000 locations, Black Diamond Nursery provided products and services to its international and national customers such as Wal-mart, K Mart, Lowes, Kroger Foods, Safeway, Home Depot, and Costco.  Since his retirement from agriculture, Mr. Lee was the President of JCL Investment Group, Inc., a land development company which has bought and sold thousands of acres of property for tens of millions of dollars for his investors.  In addition to property development, Mr. Lee was President of Electronic Micro Integrated Data Access Systems, Inc. He has been involved in smart card and software development for many years.  Mr. Lee currently serves as a Director for several not-for-profit organizations.   He serves as and advisor to OASIS Compassion Agency, and Founder and President of Connection Outreach Ministry.

 

Charles H. Combs Sr., President

Charles Combs Sr. has an extensive background in the Sales and Marketing field for Broadcast Media, Radio and Television, Sophisticated Equipment Companies, Family Service Programs and direct Sales efforts for independently and corporately owned cemeteries and funeral homes. As Regional Trainer and Unit Manager within the central region, he boosted sales exceeding a million dollars in revenue during 1997. Trained counselors in the field and office, and sold complete Pre-Need and At-Need arrangements to families in their homes. 

He then moved into the Radio and Television industry and became the number one account representative, producing over $1.2 million dollars in sales in 1981. Handled major clients for the ABC affiliate (had been NBC). Setup budgets, initiated and implemented Sales Marketing Campaigns working directly with production staff, client and ad agencies to create commercials. Key clients included: PepsiCo, McDonalds, Volvo, T.G. Lee Dairies, Albertson’s, Disney World, Sea World, and Burger King to name a few.

Successfully moved in to computerized energy management applications calling on Commercial Accounts, Office Buildings, Industrial facilities, and Hospitals. Performed energy audits and coordinated with engineering staff to develop the custom energy management program. Seeing the future in computers and smart cards has worked the past five years in this field making presentations speaking to potential users.

 

Norman J. Drew, Vice President 

Norman Drew has worked and trained in many different fields and skills over time. He has earned a life time of knowledge and wisdom from many walks of life. His training has ranged from management of retail organizations and stores such as the well known Eckerd Drug stores, Kroger Food stores, and Sears.

He started a manufacturer’s representative business known as Christian Brothers and Associates. This company was responsible for designing Infrared heating and exhaust removal systems for hazardous work environments, large warehouses, airplane hangers, and fortune five hundred corporations, such as Wal-Mart, Delta Airlines, and Coca-Cola. Hs has given seminars to the Army Corp of Engineers concerning the benefits of Infra-Red heating for large warehouses and hangars. The company also designed systems for the United States Army, Air-Force, Marines, Navy, and National Guard. This company that was started under no more than a mere apparition grew to a successful business, averaging over $1 million dollars a year in sales; customers showed their appreciation for good products and services with repeat business.

Realizing that the future of business would be in computer technology he sold the business and decided to further advance his knowledge in the computer realm. He enrolled in college, attending regular night classes, and expanded his education with the background workings of the smart card product and obtaining certifications such as CET1174-Network Computer Maint. and Repair, CTS1162-Windows 7 Configuration, CTS1347-2008 Server AD Infrastructure, CET1600-Network Fundamentals, CTS2110-Operating System Technologies, CTS2314-Network Defense Counter Measures, CTS2343-2008 Server Application Infrastructure, CTS2345-2008 Server Active Directory, CTS2346-Server 2008 Administration, CNT2405-Hardening Infrastructure, CET2660-CompTIA Network Security Plus, CET2662 -Ethical Hacking and Network Defence, and CET2691-Laws & Legal IT Security. He has been working with smart card products for over five years, and is still continuing his software education in many other networking fields of intercommunication technology.

 

James O. Childers, eMedyx System Architect

James Childers is an internationally recognized expert in secure biometric, smart ID card and portable data encryption technologies. Mr. Childers' companies Artemis Solutions Group International (ASG Global, Inc.), and BioCert iQBio Metrics, LTD (UK), have designed and deployed numerous biometrics, smart ID card and encryption technologies for customers such as The US Air Force, US Military Central Command, NASA, US Navy, CIA, Lockheed Martin, Bethesda Naval Medical Center, US District Courts, Lagos State Government Department of Revenue, World Olympian Association (2008 Beijing Olympics) and numerous small-medium business, medical and government clients throughout the USA, Canada, Europe, Africa and Middle East.

Mr. Childers' achievements and unique products have been featured on CNN, Design Technica, Forbes Magazine, NATO Defence Journal, South China Morning News and the Chicago Tribune among others.  His expertise in the design, deployment and integration of these robust security solutions continues to be highlighted by his role as a consultant for the use of advanced authentication technologies in motion pictures & television such as the movie iRobot, Fox Television's Series “24”, ABC's “Extreme Makeover - Home Edition”, and in print with The Chicago Tribune, Seattle PI, Everett Herald Newspapers and numerous magazines including Popular Science, Sunset Magazine, Continental Flyer and others.

He has written and published numerous compositions outlining the successful design and incorporation of secure multiple-factor authentication technologies such as his article “Homeland Security – Secondary Echelon Site Security Systems” featured in the NATO Defence Journal and the commentary “MythBusted - The Pervasive Myth of a Perfect Security System”. Mr. Childers is an often quoted source in the field of secure authentication and ID theft prevention in the United States and abroad.

Mr. Childers is an alumnus of Boise State University, Boise Idaho specializing in Business and Economics with his post-graduate level emphasis at University of Idaho, Boise specializing in Adult & Organizational Learning.

Mr. Childers has presented his theories and practical applications of secure multi-factor biometric and smart card security solutions at numerous industry trade and consumer expos including Intersec (Dubai), CTST (Wash DC), CES (Las Vegas), ISC East and ISC West and conducted a high level round-table symposium at the 2007 International Exhibition & Symposium on Police Equipment & Anti-Terrorism Technology & Equipment.

 

Alfredo A. Herrera, Chief Technology Officer & Development Team Lead

Alfredo is an Electric Engineer and he has been developing secure, custom software commercially since 1980. His invaluable experience with extremely large enterprise systems designed for companies like Marriott, Bridgestreet and iGPS brings an understanding of Enterprise Architecture and Security to DPS's solutions. Alfredo has been part of the ASG Global team since 2003 with Mr. Childers and has consulted with other DPS Executives on the eMedyx platform frequently over the last five years.

Over the past several years Alfredo has been involved in development of secured encryption systems for credit card processing and PCI compliance for the new high security rules mandated by the credit card companies. These PCI compliant systems were developed for some of the largest hotel and executive suite companies in the world and continue to set standards of excellence in the industry.

Alfredo and his team have previously created customized commercially distributed enterprise scheduling, financial transaction, web resource management and accounting software now in use in over 50 countries around the world by Fortune 500 clients processing millions of complex encrypted transactions per day.  Alfredo now brings this vast and extensible systems experience to the DPS eMedyx ID System.

Large Structured Query Language (SQL) server databases are a principle specialty of Alfredo's development team and they have created secure encrypted databases capable of handling millions of new records per day maintaining speed, transactional security, system integrity and reliability.  This advanced technology and Mr. Herrera's extensive experience in this area is the foundation of the eMedyx ID System as developed by Alfredo and his team at DPS.
